I’m trying to figure out the best way to integrate my blog(s), news clippings (from google reader), photos & links into facebook. Experimentation in progress. But tumblr looks pretty good.

I wonder if there’s a way to send Google reader items to tumblr (and in turn send them to facebook). The “Share” feature on Google reader lacks a significant feature … when I go to share things, my Facebook walls just says “Jason shared 12 items on Google Reader” This seems like it is kinda lame no? The whole point is that I want those 12 items to show up on my wall — as if I had pasted a link to the news articles as a status update — showing a little picture from the news article and the first few lines. That’s what makes people want to read & comment… the whole idea that anyone would care to click on the 12 items I shared today seems totally short-sighted. The whole point is that I want people on facebook to see them in their news feed…. not just a one-line message that happened to share them on some other website.

Thoughts, anyone?
